DGLA Short Documentary

This short documentary chronicles a deserving recipient of a major scholarship to attend a leadership training program. Her incredible story, moving from the middle east to America only days after 9/11 and the hardships she faced as a result – is only trumped by her perseverance and dedication to education for under-served women. This video explains just how much the scholarship opportunity meant to her while detailing the projects she hoped to create for young women in Seattle, Washington. This video project led to Zeinab receiving an opportunity to visit the United Nations headquarters in New York City where she was honored for her commitment to being a catalyst for social change.
